Our annual Christmas performances this year feature the Midnight Mass for Christmas by French baroque composer Marc-Antoine Charpentier. This intimate work features ten old French Christmas carols set in an artful and meaningful sequence. The second work on the program is Magnificat by J.S. Bach.

The Magnificat is a jewel among Bach’s sacred works with its twelve concise, discrete movements. It remains one of Bach’s most performed compositions. As an added bonus, the Masterworks Children’s Choir will join us for several beloved Christmas carols. We anticipate capacity crowds at these concerts, so plan to arrive early.
