Music for a Cause
Striving to fulfill our mission, the Choir continues our outreach initiative - Music for a Cause. At each of the three major concerts, Masterworks will partner with a local organization in order to highlight the excellent work they are doing in the community and region.

As a part of the artistic fabric of Florence, we not only want to provide beautiful music to enrich our lives, but we also feel a responsibility to do what we can to improve our community.”

Every day, the American Red Cross provides valuable services to your friends, neighbors, and communities. We respond to disasters. We teach life-saving skills. We prepare our communities.
PEE DEE COALITION AGAINST DOMESTIC AND SEXUAL ASSAULT
Pee Dee Coalition is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to the reduction of sexual assault, family violence, and child abuse and to the needs of its victims.
HOUSE OF HOPE OF THE PEE DEE “HOPE VILLAGE”
Since 1990 the House of Hope has been serving those facing homelessness. They strive to care for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the people they serve at their shelters. In June 2022 they welcomed their first guests to the Hope Village.
BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF THE PEE DEE AREA
Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun. We truly are “The Positive Place For Kids.”
MERCY MEDICAL FREE CLINICS
Mercy Medicine provides holistic, quality, free healthcare with Judeo-Christian values of love, faith, compassion and integrity; providing the indigent with chronic disease management, life-sustaining medication, short-term acute illness (non-life-threatening) and dental pain/infection treatments.
HELPING FLORENCE FLOURISH
HFF desires to draw people, communities, and organizations together to address the various kinds of brokenness in our community.
MCLEOD HEALTH HOPE FUND
The HOPE (Helping Oncology Patients Everyday) Fund was created to break down barriers that oncology patients face when dealing with the financial effects of cancer and cancer treatment. Gifts to the HOPE Fund help support patient support services, as well as many other individualized patient needs.
BEDS MINISTRY AT CENTRAL UMC
The BEDS (Better Education Demands Sleep) Ministry is an outreach initiative of Central United Methodist Church. Began in 2015, church members and volunteers gather periodically throughout the year to build beds for children in need in the Florence School District One.
GREATER FLORENCE HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Habitat for Humanity envisions a world where everyone has a decent place to live. The organization, staff, and volunteers seek to put love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
LIGHTHOUSE MINISTRIES
Lighthouse Ministries exists to enhance the quality of life for Florence County residents by providing immediate basic needs and on-going comprehensive support services. They seek to be the primary resource for direct services and referrals for those with the greatest needs in our area.
